Shri. Gopukiran Sadasivan, senior disciple of Padmabushan Dhananjayans, has an undying passion and love for the great Natya form and has done his master of arts in Bharathanatyam and is a gold medalist in Bachelor of Performing Arts. He is a graded artist in Doordarshan and has also choreographed for many South Indian Films. He is a recipient of many eminent awards like Yuva Kala Bharathi.

Shri. Gopukiran is also trained in Kathakali and Ottam Thullal and has learned Carnatic music. He specializes in nattuvangam and has produced many Natya productions such as Shivam, Nivedham, Udhayam, Ravaneeyam amongst others. He has been awarded with highly acclaimed Natya Ratna and Natya Sampoorna awards. Shri. Gopukiran is married to highly acclaimed Bharathanatyam dancer Smt. Aashin Kiran.

Shri. Gopukiran and his wife Aashin Kiran established Kirans Academy of Natya in Chennai. The academy is one of the most accredited and sought after Natya institutes in south India. Both of them are M.Phil Rank Holders from the University of Madras. In 2022 Kirans stepped into Movie Production Company named Kirans Productions.
