This vibrant piece is in honor of lord Murugan (or Subramanya), the six faced lord who comes riding on a beautiful peacock with a spear in his hand. Murugan is well known as the Handsome Tamil Lord. He has a rooster as his flag, and Devasena and Valli are his 2 wives. Murugan is God Ganesha’s brother.
Nithya’s remarks:
The choreography for this dance is truly incredible and creative, and how there is so much scope to move around the stage. I also really like the fast paced nature of the song. Neha aunty worked very hard with me to get every little bit of this dance perfect. I love the peacock jumps that Neha aunty added at the beginning of the song!
