The Thillana is a brisk and lively number performed towards the end of a concert. Thillana is full of sculpturesque poses and varieties of movements. It does not convey any particular theme or meaning. In terms of movements, Thillanas have designs in space along straight lines, triangles, rectangles and diagonals. There will be a small portion at the end of the Thillana in praise of Lord Murugan.
